About Me

I am an Australian educator, governance professional and long-term investor with experience spanning the energy sector, academia, corporate governance and sustainability leadership. Before entering academia, I held executive and senior executive roles within the energy sector. I now teach strategy, corporate governance and sustainability at an Australian public university while also serving on boards and leading community organisations. My work has involved helping organisations navigate complex decisions, balance competing priorities and create long-term value in environments characterised by uncertainty and risk. These experiences have shaped a disciplined, evidence-based approach to decision-making and stewardship.Investing is a personal passion. Through eToro's Popular Investor Program, I share my investment journey and portfolio with others who value transparency, accountability and a long-term perspective.
Investment Philosophy

My investment philosophy is built on three principles: long-term thinking, disciplined risk management and evidence-based decision-making.I do not use leverage or attempt to trade short-term market movements. Instead, I focus on building a diversified portfolio of high-quality assets across global markets and allowing compounding to work over time.Investment decisions are informed by company fundamentals, governance quality, industry trends and broader economic developments. While returns matter, my priority is understanding and managing risk before committing capital.I believe successful investing is less about predicting the future and more about following a consistent process through changing market conditions.
